OctaPulse is building the robotics layer for seafood production. Aquaculture is the fastest-growing food sector and already produces more seafood than commercial fishing, yet the people who breed and process fish still make thousands of decisions a day with almost no data about the fish in front of them, and much of the most important work is still done by hand, one fish at a time.

We put cameras where fish are already handled, turn every image into measurements, and give farms and plants the tools to act on them. Today that is two products: Phenotyping, which measures every fish for shape, size and condition and links it to its family for breeding decisions, and Digital Twin, which places cameras on processing lines and farm sites onto the floor plan with live views, automatic counts and a built-in AI assistant.

The same per-fish measurements are the foundation for Plant Robotics: robot cells that handle whole fish on the processing line, working alongside the people there. Fish are wet, slippery, soft and never the same twice, which is exactly why this work is still manual and why it needs measurement-driven robots built for food plants rather than rigid grippers and tabletop demos. We are now selecting processing plants for the first pilots on real lines.

We signed a 6-figure paid pilot with the largest trout producer in the United States, and every deployment adds labeled images to a proprietary multi-species dataset that improves our models across species and becomes the brain for autonomous seafood production.
